Hello my friends! Today I am sharing with you a new sympathy card now available at Bubbalina's Boutique called Bouquet of Wildflowers Sympathy Greeting Card.
It's not always easy to make sympathy cards. I was once told that you should make these type of cards when you are happy and keep stashed so they are available when needed. The outcome of the design will be much brighter.
Design Process For Bouquet of Wildflowers
I made this card using a wildflower die cut set from one of my favorite suppliers, The Greetery. I wanted the flowers to pop in this bouquet, so I used coral, teal, pink, apricot, yellow, and vanilla card stock to cut them out and 2 different shades of green for the stems and leaves.
I placed the bouquet on a oval white card stock element that I distressed in a blue ink. Finishing the card with blue and yellow wildflower pattern paper glued to light blue card stock.
Creating Dimension for Bouquet of Wildflowers Card
Creating dimension on a card is important. It should not look flat. So, I used liquid pearl drops (which is a colored glitter goo) in many colors to highlight the center of each flower. Then finished off with a bow made from twine.
Inside the Bouquet of Wildflowers Card
For the sentiment on the inside of the card, I used 2 stamps with black ink from a stamp set by The Stamps of Life.
